People ask me why comic books?, simple answer why not.

For as long as I can remember I have always read comic books, I love them pure and simple. The characters, the stories, the art and colours are all amazing and trigger your imagination.

So in the early months of 2006 Hero Central was born (with my wifes permission), although only small we started selling on Ebay and have grown from there. Now we have our ever growing and evolving website (please bear with us) and now our online store is going live.

Hero Central wants to bring a greater awarness of the comic book genre to people and try and nurture the next generation of readers by supplying quality comics at quality prices.

So create a standing order and never miss your favourite issues or just check in from time to time and read our blog or chat with us on our forum and who knows we might see you around at a convention sometime soon.
